Condo Kitchen & Bath Remodeling in Boca Raton

Remodeling a condo is house remodeling plus a second organization: the building. Association approvals, work-hour rules, elevator reservations, insurance certificates and protected common areas — miss any of them and the project stalls before demo. We've worked within Boca Raton's condo and high-rise rules and build them into the plan instead of discovering them mid-project.

The building logistics

Before any work, we prepare what associations ask for: scope of work, proof of insurance, contractor licensing paperwork, and proposed work hours. Deliveries and debris get scheduled around freight elevator bookings and service-corridor rules, and floors and walls in common areas are protected on every trip.

Condos also have plumbing and electrical realities of their own — shared or stacked lines, shutoffs that need building coordination, and drywall assemblies that are part of the fire separation. We identify which walls and lines are yours to change and which need association sign-off, before the plans are final.

Designing for compact footprints

Condo kitchens and baths reward ruthless prioritization. Galley and L-shaped kitchens can be transformed with flat-front cabinets, counters that keep clear landing zones, and storage that uses vertical space instead of floor space. In bathrooms, a 60-inch tub-to-walk-in-shower conversion or a floating vanity with a recessed medicine cabinet often changes the room more than anything else could.

Weight rules matter too — some buildings restrict heavy stone on upper floors. If yours does, we'll show you beautiful alternatives that pass review, from lighter quartz options to large-format porcelain that reads like stone.

Homeowner questions

Do I need my condo association's approval to remodel?

In most buildings, yes for anything beyond cosmetic work — and the required package usually includes scope, insurance and licensed contractors. We prepare the paperwork your association expects so approval isn't the bottleneck.

Can you work within quiet-hours and elevator-booking rules?

Yes — that's normal condo practice. We schedule noisy work inside permitted hours, book freight elevators in advance, and plan material deliveries so nothing sits in hallways. The schedule builds these constraints in from the start.

Is a full condo kitchen remodel possible in a small unit?

Absolutely — compact kitchens often get the most dramatic transformations because every inch counts. New cabinets, counters, backsplash, lighting and appliances can completely change a galley kitchen without moving a single wall.

What about the plumbing stack and shared walls?

Shared lines and stacked plumbing mean some changes need building coordination and sometimes neighbor notification — for example, work on a drain shared with the unit below. We identify these conditions during the walkthrough so there are no surprises mid-project.
